Nowadays, there aren't nearly as many people taking road trips as there once was because of the high gas prices as well as the number of people who are trying to save money by not driving their vehicles as much. There are various reasons as to why road trips are good as well as why they may not be such a hot idea.

For starters, road trips often end up costing you much more money than you initially may have thought.
